Non-Tech Founders Enter New Era as Rapid Developers Acquire Ambitious Labs

by / ⠀Technology / November 4, 2025

Rapid Developers has officially acquired Ambitious Labs, the Vibe Code education platform that’s helped thousands of non-technical founders build revenue generating software startups using AI coding technologies.

The move marks a new chapter for non-tech entrepreneurs. By combining Ambitious Labs’ founder-focused training ecosystem with Rapid Developers’ expertise as a trusted tech partner for custom app and AI solutions — and a leader in global software development — the partnership bridges the gap between learning and launching.

“We are on a path to become a large, diversified services company that can provide a range of solutions to a variety of clients. This acquisition is a step in that direction,” says Matt Graham, founder of Rapid Developers.

Ambitious Labs

This acquisition is notable as it shows the growing demand for accessible software development education and is a milestone for Ambitious Labs founder and technical startup entrepreneur Alim Charaniya.

Startup Founder to Tech Innovator

Alim Charaniya is a veteran software engineer turned founder who has launched dozens of successful software products and helped scale PrizePicks from just 2,000 users to over 3 million, making it the #1 sports app on the App Store.

Previously, Charaniya co-founded and served as CTO of Season Share, a B2B SaaS platform for sports ticketing, where he grew the business from concept to over $10 million in gross merchandise value (GMV).

As Head of Mobile Engineering at PrizePicks, he led the development of one of the fastest-growing fantasy sports platforms in the U.S. Having scaled multiple consumer and B2B products, Charaniya says he has a deep understanding of what it takes to build and optimize high-converting software products.

The Birth of Ambitious Labs

His experience recruiting developers from India inspired him to start Ambitious Labs. Communication issues were among the many challenges in hiring from overseas.

“Hiring developers overseas may seem cost-effective at first, but if you don’t know how to speak the language of full-stack development, or if you get caught with a middleman, you’re almost guaranteed to fail in software development,” Charaniya explains.

This learning experience inspired the creation of Ambitious Labs.

Additionally, discovering AI-powered software development technologies inspired Charaniya to teach those who did wrong software development. He was already passionate about education and mentoring early-stage startups. The founding of Ambitious Labs was a natural progression of his interests.

This successful endeavor has garnered $250k in monthly revenue, employs 15 people full-time, and has developed a strong technical and sales team

Acquisition Details and Impact

Rapid Developers plans to preserve Ambitious Labs’ operational model, instructors, mentors, and curriculum while Ambitious Labs continues as a standalone brand within the company. The deal was based on Ambitious Labs’ annual profitability (based on EBITDA multiple). Charaniya will continue to receive royalties based on the performance of the media content and educational materials he created.

“We see a lot of people who need a solution like what Ambitious Labs offers, so we are excited to finally be able to offer something like this. We are looking for more opportunities like this. There are so many different types of dev languages and platforms to provide services on that it’s an endless opportunity for us to be able to keep rolling up more and more companies into our brand and operating system. We have passed an 8-figure run rate and now have our sights on 9 figures,” Graham says.
