Dr. Dorian Mintzer, a renowned retirement expert and Brookline resident, will lead a free webinar titled “From Chaos to Clarity: How to Best Navigate Retirement Transitions” on May 6, 2025, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM EST. The session is designed specifically for federal employees nearing or entering retirement during government downsizing efforts.

The webinar will offer practical tools and emotional support to help participants manage the psychological and emotional aspects of leaving the workforce, particularly under stressful, involuntary circumstances such as agency downsizing. Dr. Mintzer, a Certified Retirement Coach and co-creator of the Certified Professional Retirement Coach (CPRC) program, will be joined by other speakers, including Robert Laura, Ellen Quint, Joy Levin, and Kimberly Stratman. “This is about helping people regain control,” said Dr. Mintzer.
“When the end of a career comes unexpectedly or with uncertainty, it’s essential to have tools and support systems in place that address both the logistical and emotional sides of retirement.”
