The debut comes after CATL unveiled a new battery capable of a 320-mile range on a five-minute charge, outpacing rival BYD’s technology, which offers a 250-mile range at a similar charge time. In 2024, CATL maintained its position as the world’s largest electric battery supplier for the eighth consecutive year, holding 38% of the global market.
