UBS Asset Management has announced it will divest its Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) business to Manteio Partners LLC and its affiliates. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter, subject to regulatory and investor approvals and other customary closing conditions. The QIS portfolio management team, which oversees funds and mandates worth about $1.5 billion, will transfer to Manteio and operate as a distinct group within the company.
This move ensures continuity for investors. A spokesperson for UBS Asset Management said, “We believe this transfer to Manteio Partners will provide our clients with robust and advanced quantitative investment strategies, given Manteio’s expertise and focus in the field.”
