A recent interview with Scott Case by Andrew Keen on Techcrunch TV. Watch as Scott discusses the state of entrepreneurship in America right now and how he wants to change it. Scott and Startup America Partnership want to bring the startup ecosystem that exists in Silicon Valley, New York, and San Francisco to smaller communities in the heart of the country.

Scott is firm believer that many of the problems in the economy today like the unemployment rate can and will be solved by entrepreneurs, as he says: “We look at and think that, big successful companies sort of magically appeared there, but every large company in America started with one or two people with an idea. Whether that is HP or Microsoft or Apple or Dell or Federal Express, they all started some place and we’ve got to remember that and we’ve got to elevate that up to the next level.”
