So, you finished college with a degree in Business Administration. You probably feel very accomplished with getting a college degree, but where do you go from here? Business administration jobs could mean so many things, which one is best?

Well, that is a complicated question because that depends on you. What you need to figure out is what jobs are considered business administration. This article will explain to you some of the jobs to look out for with a business administration degree. With that said, let’s get started!

Human Resources Manager

An important job for any company is human resources. The human resource managers oversee the workforce of the business. This starts at recruitment and goes on with many other employee-related issues such as training, payroll, scheduling, and much more.

The main task of a human resource manager is to vet and recruit new employees. However, they are able to do other tasks sugar as employee relations, compensation, and training.

At the manager level, the average wage for human resources manager is $110,120. Not to mention that specialists in this field are to grow by 5% in the next two years.

Sports Operations Manager

Always wanted to work in sports, but aren’t able to be a player? Well, if you have an interest you can become a sports operations manager. This is an interesting position because some professional sports teams need employees for front and back offices.

From talent management firms to school academic programs, there are many positions for a sports operations manager. Their median salary is around $95,000 a year.

Business Developer

Small businesses become big businesses when they are ready to grow. They would then hire a business developer to help them strategize the expansion. Business developers also assist in coming up with new products and services, creating partnerships, and more.

These positions, especially at the medium to high levels would require you to have an MBA and you would report directly to the business board.

Fast-food franchises always need managers.  If you want to start out, try your hand at being a franchise manager. Consider ones in a college town where there would be lots of different franchise brands to choose from.

Municipal Manager

Administration is quite important when running a city, so why not try being a municipal manager? There is a large number of business degree holders in city work because one has to run a city similar to a business. Bureaucracy is needed everywhere and at every level. From local, city, county, state, and even federal levels, you can be looking at a long and lucrative career.

Like other business administration jobs, the median annual pay is between $60k to $120k.


One does not need to be an advertisement expert in order to administrate. Those with a degree in business administration can find a job in advertisement because of the need to check in on clients and run a team.

This kind of job is expected to grow by nearly 20% in the next couple of years. The median salary is between $40k and $120k depending on skill level, experience, and the business.
