Peace-Love-Happiness-by-iamscottiew

Life, success and happiness come to people in different shapes and colors. The only certain thing is that everyone needs to keep a balance between the things that make him happy and fulfilled and his obligations. There is no recipe, but you can use just a few simple guidelines to lift you up and keep you motivated, happy and vigorous!

Quote #1:

“Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering.”

~Steve Maraboli

It is all about appreciating what you have and doing the things your heart desires. Daily routine makes us dive into a life that most of the times doesn’t satisfy us. It is then up to each every one of us to decide whether to lead an interesting life or an ordinary one!

Of course there are responsibilities but what about putting touches of ‘magic’ in our everyday life in order to spice things up a little?

Instead of going home every day after work, do something you enjoy. Instead of being bored at work, involve yourself in something creative and beautiful.

You never have time to show how much you appreciate your loved ones? Do so… Call them up, take them out, buy them a gift when they least expect it. Take nothing for granted and enjoy every little thing and situation.

For no reason at all, allow people to spoil your good mood by telling you that enthusiasm is for children. Adults also need the magic and even though they have seen more, they haven’t seen everything…

So when you feel like doing something that would make you happier, healthier, wealthier, just go for it. You owe it to yourself.

Quote #2:

To avoid sickness eat less; to prolong life worry less.

~Chu Hui Weng

Impulse is great. Motivation is revitalizing. The focus on your goals is respectful. But also conceding that it is time to give yourself a break is priceless.

How many times you find yourself so worried about everything that you could burst? Did they get that email, will I get promoted, or will my company be viable? All of these very crucial issues will no longer be important, if you are not in the position to fulfill them.

So take good care of your number 1 ally: yourself!

There are situations in life beyond your control, so even if you worry too much, there is not much you can do about it. It is very significant to do it all well, but you cannot achieve much by not being nice to yourself.

Lead a healthy life, not sterile but balanced. Pay attention to your diet and to overwhelming stress. Worrying too much over situations you are not in charge of is no use!

Quote #3:

“Opportunities don’t happen, you create them.”

~Chris Grosser

So you are trying to make things happen at your end. Whether you have a job or you are an inspired member of a start up that wants to reach success, things are not expected to come about by themselves. Talent is something that needs to be sharpened and developed and you can definitely not depend solely on that.

If you crave for many professional achievements, you have to build the right circumstances, as we live in an extremely competitive world where opportunities are earned and not given away.

As an employee you should focus on being the best at what you do, the most eager in completing the tasks and the fastest learner as far as it concerns new techniques, procedures, tools etc. How else are you going to get that promotion?

When it comes to entrepreneurship things are even tougher, because no matter how much you work or try there will be times of great disappointment. You might have the best idea or product but still there would be something missing on your road to success. And that would be the time to lift yourself up and keep up the struggle towards more clients, new investors, improved products…accomplishment!

In any case, it is up to you to work hard every single hour of a day to make yourself more competitive, more aware and to sharpen your skills.

You should have a clear vision of both your short term and long term goals and a rough idea about how you are going to achieve them.

But never forget that life, your life, is not just about individual goals. It is about embracing all the things around you that matter. It is important to take care of yourself, appreciate your family and close friends’ circle and take every possible action towards reaching your dreams.

Life is all about a combination of things that make you enjoy it to its full extent; you are the one who should decide the right formula for your day-to-day happiness.
