
The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) organized Digital Life Certificate (DLC) camps at the Panaji Secretariat and the Mapusa branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) today. The camps aimed to help pensioners submit their Life Certificates using various digital modes. Shri Deepak Gupta, Under Secretary at DoPPW, visited the camps to support the pensioners.
The nationwide DLC campaign 3.0, part of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision for digital empowerment of pensioners, runs from November 1 to November 30, 2024. The campaign covers 800 cities across India, allowing pensioners from Central and State governments, EPFO, and autonomous bodies to submit their DLCs at Pension Disbursing Banks or IPPB. Special provisions, including doorstep services, are available for super senior and disabled pensioners.
The campaign is a collaborative effort involving Pension Disbursing Banks, CGDA, IPPB, and UIDAI. Representatives from SBI, including Shri Yogesh Varode, Regional Manager, RBO, North Goa; Shri Amlan Kumar Roy, Chief Manager (Operations), RBO North Goa; Shri Nirmal Kumar Singh, Chief Manager, Panaji Secretariat Branch; Shri Sameer Borwandkar, Chief Manager, Mapusa Branch; and Shri Kedar Pujari, Manager, RBO North Goa, participated in both events.
